Hello Gorgeous,

Do you have a favorite deep conditioner?

How ’bout a set deep conditioning routine (weekly, every 2 weeks, once a month, etc.)?

This week, we’re lavishly deep conditioning!

Pull out your favorite or make your own (you know I’ve got recipes galore at the end:)

Whether you pre-poo, no-poo, co-wash, or mud cleanse, deep conditioning your curls regularly prevents hair struggle and strife!

Since my hair has been in a protective style for the last month, I’m using a henna treatment I discovered during the last challenge.

I love using this deep conditioner to strengthen my curls and for some nice red highlights.

Check out my new video and see how I mix and apply this luxurious treatment!

For the full recipes, see Red Raj Henna with Beets, Amla & Hibiscus and Amla & Hibiscus Curl Defining Conditioner.

I deep condition every week since I been wearing a ponytail. I also used an ayurveda treatment every week to help strengthen my hair. I would used henna but I want to dye my hair at the end of the year. I’m using a ayurveda deep conditioning mix with aveda damage remedy conditioner, coconut oil, hibiscus petal powder, brahma powder, bhringrai powder, fenugreek seed powder, and beet powder. I am planning on doing this the entire year along with protective styling and hair challenge. I thanks you Erica for starting this one. This has encourage me to do this for the year of 2015.

On my next wash day, I plan to use the pumpkin spice and everything nice deep condition clay masque. Since I am using the Rhassoul Clay as my mud wash, I am going to make a coco shampoo with: 1/2c of coconut milk, 2/3c castile soap, 1 tsp sweet almond oil, 1sp castor oil and 15 drops of lavender essential oil.
