Water Only Hair Wash Video Update, Part 2 (+ Homemade Coconut Cream & Hair Tea Recipes)

September 21, 2015 by Erica King

Hello Goddess,

Here's part two of my Water Only Hair Wash Update. If you missed Part 1, you can see what happened over The First 40-Days.

This video also includes a new updated Hibiscus Hair Tea Recipe I've included below. It's LUSCIOUS!

Thoughts About The WOHW Method...

I'm 63 days in now, and still enjoying my results so far. I'm seeing more hair growth all over, and especially at the crown, which was a problem area. I feel more sebum in the top, front, and edges. Seems to be thick, but it still hasn't made it all the way to the ends. A little shea butter helped a lot.

I know what I said in the video...don't judge me:-)

I also started going longer between washings -- 0nly 2 or 3 days, and mostly by accident. My hair doesn't seem to mind these resting periods.

It's regained it's full thickness in the 2 months I've been doing this method. My crown and my edges are getting more thick and luscious. I've got some serious baby hair going on.

wohw update 2015

I plan on staying with this method for as long as possible. It's easy and my hair does much better maintaining moisture. It's reached a new level of softness I didn't know was possible, and my hair wasn't hard to begin with!

The next update is almost ready - YAY! I have a new recipe with slippery elm bark, You. Are. Going. To. Love.

Here's a quick list of the recipes we've made so far:

  1. Banana Deep Detangling Conditioner
  2. Cactus Fenugreek Conditioner
  3. Coconut Cream Hair Mask
  4. Chocolate
  5. Hair Milk
  6. DIY Leave-In Conditioner

Seems like a good method but I don’t know if it will work for me. Water only don’t know and Naptural85 is doing this to. I don’t have time to wash evert 2 or 3 day’s. Schoolwork is off the charts. I’m glad it working for you guys.
