Just like that, summer is coming to a close and it’s Back To School Time in LavishLand. As we search for new protective styles to try, my curly kiddies decided they want “Mommy’s Braids!”

“Mommy’s Braids” aka “Easy braids” are easy to put in, take care of, and last for up to 3 months. I like to leave ours in for about 6 to 8 weeks depending on how well we take care of them.

If you’ve never braided your hair before, set aside about 4 hours, grab a comb (for parting), hair clips, 4 to 6 bags of hair (depending on thickness and length) and go for it - this weekend!
