Here’s the recipe for the herbal rinse in the video. I make this to use as a weekly spritz for me and the girls during the summer. It’s great to use after a swim or for a quick boost of moisture for thirsty twists and braids…
Erica’s Rosy Conditioning Rinse
1 cup purified water
1/2 cup aloe vera juice*
1/2 cup dried organic roses
1 tbsp organic hibiscus flowers
2 to 4 dropscedarwoodessential oil (or your favorite essential oil)
Warm over low to medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the water has a nice simmer. Turn the rinse on low and add the roses and hibiscus. Let simmer for about 5 minutes and then remove from heat. Add essential oil and allow to cool. Pour the rinse over your hair.
*Lavish LOVES apple cider vinegar (acv) in this recipe. You can substitute acv for aloe vera juice or add 1/4 cup to this mix for extra shine and moisture retention!
