Hello Gorgeous!
When we first moved to Phoenix I couldn’t wait to see my first AZ Sunset and hit up all the spas in the area…for research of course.
I discovered many new and improved spins on the same ole’ massages and body treatments, but I also discovered a facial that I actually liked.
Keep in mind - I hate facials. As a child with acne and traumatic dermatologist visits (facial peels still make me cringe) I don’t like people touching my face.
No matter how gentle or fragrance free the product is, my skin will not like it…in probably the most prominent area on my pretty face.
So when I found Lerosett ($32) during a spa treatment, I was in love. I wanted the spa angel to come to my home every morning to apply it to my skin again with that special thingy that blew moisturized oxygenated something or other onto my face like a warm mist.
I was a bit shocked when I turned over the back of the product and saw it was made with distilled water and rhassoul clay! At the time, I had been using Rhassoul Clay only on my hair thanks to Ms. Anita Grant’s Deep Condish.
I’ve been hooked ever since. I use this to cleanse my skin daily and no longer need to use a moisturizer or toner, just sunscreen.
Experiment with this simply luscious spa treatment for your beautiful skin. Let me know if it works for you in the comments below!

Skin Rejuvenating Honey Clay Masque (for sensitive skin)
1 tbsp raw organic honey
1 tsp of rhassoul clay
1/8 tsp of water (just enough to apply it to your skin easily)
*1 drop of collagen
I like to leave this on my skin for hours, but 15 to 20 minutes is awesome while you apply your weekly hair food :)
*The collagen is optional for this recipe.
Collagen is often thought to be a filler only for wrinkles. Although there are no clinical studies that support it’s thickening, hair growing properties…collagen does rejuvenate skin. I like to put it on those untimely break out spots or as a preventative measure for those laugh lines that I work daily to imprint on my pretty face:)
Remember - before using any ingredient for the first time, test it on your skin (wrist, forearm, or back of the neck) before use.
I buy my collagen from Organic Creations online (but I don’t think they carry it anymore 2-5-15). This bottle has lasted me for over a year. Pretty good at $4.25 for a 1oz a bottle.
Weekly Hair Food
Every day give yourself at least 10 minutes to love you. If that means 10 minutes of silence, listening to your favorite song, writing about how grateful you are that life is good…however you celebrate your inner goddess, make it a habit.
What you focus on INCREASES!
