This twist butter smells good enough to eat — and it only has 3 ingredients! It also doubles and triples as a body butter, and edge slicker for all of your updos and pretty puffs.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Shea Butter
1/4 cup Cocoa Butter
1/4 cup Coconut Oil
To keep all of the nutrient properties and gifts of your butters and oil, slowly heat your shea butter and cocoa butter in heat safe container that can sit in very hot water.
Boil water and take off heat. Let it cool for about 2 minutes, then set your cup full of butters and oil inside.
Stir occasionally to make sure everything is melting together.
I used cocoa butter wafers for this recipe because I find that it’s easier to melt them.
Once everything has melted together, pour the mixture into a jar or container.
Once it cools you can stir it or whip it up for a different texture…or you can use it fresh out of the jar.
This butter will add plenty of shine to your curls and twists!
