I am deeply saddened by the news of Maya’s passing. 

Her words live in my soul, on my mirrors and walls, and on the tip of my tongue.

Almost unconsciously, I can recite my favorite quotes from her while styling my hair (anytime is a good time for hair affirmations:)

As I look up from my computer, these are the first two quotes I see:
