Hey Goddess,

There’s been a lot of Hair in the news lately, especially natural hair. It’s all over TV (natural hair commercials), it’s in my magazines, even Oprah rocked a BODACIOUS fro on her cover this month.

Inside there’s a breakdown of natural hair terms (which I LOVE) and Oprah share’s a cameo of her “real” natural hair.

We’re moving on up Naturalistas…and rockin BODACIOUS Fro’s in the Process!

Last week I shared my bentonite clay wash recipe…

This week I’m showing you how I apply it to my hair.

One of the biggest complaints I see about clay, is that it’s hard to apply or very drying to the hair.

I recommend softening and conditioning extracts (aloe vera, nettle, and yarrow leaf are good ones), hair growing essential oils, and botanical treatments (view my recipe from last week here).

In this video you’ll continue to get a “behind the scarf” look at Lavish.

She was ripe and ready for this treatment, I hadn’t washed or detangled her in weeks!

I had product build-up galore and slept without a scarf for at least one night - clutch the pearls…

No worries!

I always have a secret weapon that works in under an hour. You can use this cleansing clay wash on wet or dry hair.

If you have some wheatgrass on hand, try myWheatgrass & Grapefruit Conditioning Clay Wash.
